A birdcage veil is a full veil that sits further back towards the crown of your head, or at an angle towards the side. It is roughly 12” to 18” from the comb to the edge of veil.
Mid-length veils, including elbow-length, fingertip, and walking veils, provide a traditional look but also work with tea-length dresses and alternative bridal styles. A birdcage veil covers only part of the face and is attached to either a headband or a comb.
A blusher veil is a short veil worn over the bride's face while walking down the aisle. The blusher veil is lifted back to present her to the groom. Most blusher veils are attached to a simple hair comb or a headband.
A cathedral-length veil extends beyond the train of the bride's gown and is the most dramatic down-the-aisle length.
